Snow-Camp Triathlon

Inter-Livery Ski Championship

Our key sponsor:

The new Inter-Livery/Snow-Camp Team Triathlon Challenge 2022

Our association with the wonderful charity Snow-Camp started in January 2019 with the Inter-Livery Team Distance Ski Challenge and it proved to be huge fun and very popular. This year we are introducing a new challenge and we hope that you will find it even MORE fun!  Many Livery Companies have supported youth charity Snow-Camp over the years. The charity was founded in 2003 by Dan Charlish and received the Freedom of the City at Guildhall in 2013, in a ceremony celebrating excellence in youth work. Dan and his team continue to do a brilliant job and since 2019 we have raised over £30,000 for Snow-Camp from the participation of the Livery Companies.

How does the new Triathlon event work?

Teams of 4 from each Livery Company sign up in advance to take part. Teams will take part in 3 fun disciplines:  Team Slalom, a (short) Snow-Shoe Hike and Olympic Biathlon style Rifle Shooting event. Livery companies can enter as many teams as they like.  This is a link where you can find out more details and register:

Here is some small print for those of you already calculating the odds and thinking of marginal gains…

  • Teams of 4 sign up in advance giving their Livery Company(s) and team members names and emails under a Team Captain. This may be a different person from the Team Captain for the racing events

  • Team members can be guests or friends and don't have to be down as 'Racers' for the other events. As long as at least one person in the team (the Team Captain for this event) is at least loosely associated with the Livery Company they are representing.

  • Prizes and trophies for the first, second and third placed teams and top fundraising teams will be awarded by Snow-Camp at the Awards Evening on Friday.

  • Entry to the Challenge is free but each Company being represented will have a fundraising page set up for them and there is a minimum fundraising target of £100 per person to support Snow-Camp’s work. We are hoping that teams and Companies will do their utmost to support Snow-Camp’s fantastic work with young people.
